The Foundation of Southern Oregon

The Foundation of Southern Oregon (FSO) is a 501(C)(3) charitable organization dedicated to providing our region’s children and adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) opportunities to experience and explore the natural environment and find their passion.

Private and group equine lessons are offered at The Foundation in English, Western, and jumping. In addition to our lesson program, we will be hosting quarterly educational clinics taught by expert clinicians, vets, and farriers. All lessons are under the direction  of our certified master instructor and clinician.

Not only do we offer equine activities, but also programs featuring livestock and farm animals, outdoor gardening, trail development and maintenance, and more…

Scroll down for a full list of available activities at the FSO!

All equine programs, including private/group lessons, equine assisted activities and clinics, are available to clients with or without an intellectual or developmental disability.
